Christian Ulloa (b. 1999 Chicago) is a contemporary artist whose work touches on his personal relationship with masculinity; both through an external observation of a culture that seems foreign (despite gender identity) and through an internal need to fit into that culture. Ulloa works primarily through sculptures that employ humor to emphasize the absurdity of his observations.
Christian Ulloa was born and raised in the suburbs outside of Chicago. He received a BFA in sculpture from Northern Illinois University; and currently works out of Madison, Wisconsin where he attends the University of Wisconsin - Madison as a graduate fellow in the studio art MFA program.
